dc.descriptionRepresentatives of the Black Student Union met with President Carlson and agreed on a series of proposals and an optional moratorium on classes in response to the deaths of two Jackson State College students. Negotiations took place while members of the BSU barricaded University Hall and the Library, preventing anyone from entering the buildings. The Collegian, May 19, 1970.
