Abstract

Description

In this article, Kubiak proposes that we can trace a continuity of estrangements, metacommentaries, and alienation effects running through theatre’s history. This he does by placing the self-reflexivity of Brechtian and other contemporary performance theories alongside the Mahamudra and Dzogchen approaches to meditation.
