Scott Park 1922-1931
Abstract
Description
Original Scott land, Nebraska Avenue. In the 1920s, due to increasing enrollment, the student body outgrew the buildings used by the University. The need for new facilities led the University to use the automobile mechanics training facility and dormitory that had been constructed for the war effort on the original Scott land. The University moved to the Scott land in 1922. Classes continued to be held there until the new Bancroft campus opened in 1931.
