Exhibit Labels:

[1] The Independent Collegian ceases publication (2019). Formed as the Universi-Teaser in 1919, the University of Toledo student newspaper consistently reported on the events and developments of the institution. Known as The Campus Collegian, Collegian and, since 2000, the Independent Collegian, it experienced funding issues that threatened the future of its print publication. As a result, the final issue printed April 24, 2019.

[2] The COVID-19 pandemic (2020). Like the rest of the world, UToledo contended with the COVID-19 pandemic. On March 10, 2020, one day after Governor Mike DeWine declared a state of emergency due to three cases recorded in Ohio, the University announced the cancellation of classes for two days. Shortly after, the institution cancelled all face-to-face classes for the spring semester, limited travel, transitioned to remote learning and work, and offered testing and vaccinations. The efforts to keep the campus community safe included mask mandates and social distancing. As the world worked to get the pandemic under control, more and more activities returned to campus.

[3] The Investiture of Gregory Postel (2021). Upon President Gaber's resignation in spring of 2020, Dr. Gregory Postel stepped in to serve as interim president. The Board of Trustees asked Postel to serve as the 18th President of the University of Toledo in March 2021. Since his appointment, Postel has set the University on a path to continuing success. He has identified eight key initiatives and appointed campus-wide working groups focused on creating a solid foundation upon which to build future growth.
