dc.description<strong>Exhibit Labels:</strong><br /><br />[1] Dedication of the Ward M. Canaday Center (1979). Built to replace the former Rare Books and Archives Department, the Canaday Center was named for Ward M. Canaday, Chairman of the Board of Willys-Overland Motors, Inc. Canaday was also a trustee of the Toledo Museum of Art and president of The Friends of the University of Toledo Libraries. The stained glass panel in the photo depicts various printers’ devices. <br /><br />[2] Moving Day (December 15, 1979). Photos of patients being moved from Maumee Valley Hospital to the new hospital's current location on what is now known as the Health Science Campus.
