Both the UToledo Centennial Mace and Medical College of Ohio Mace were retired upon Dr. Lloyd Jacobs' investiture in September 2006. In recognition of the merger, the University designed a new mace that combined elements from each institution. In this photo, Grand Marshall William Free holds the mace for the Spring 2013 commencement ceremony.
