Memorial Field House after renovation (2008)

Once the site of basketball and concerts, the second building ever built on the Bancroft campus, the Field House fell into disuse after the opening of Centennial Hall--later renamed Savage Hall--in 1976. In 2007, the Board of Trustees approved a proposal for a $25 million renovation that would include 80,000 square feet of additional space for offices and classrooms.
