Recognition of President Horton

Recognition. Calvin Lawshe, assistant to the vice president for academic affairs and chairman of the Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Benefit Committee, presents UT President Frank Horton with a plaque originated by individual members of the UT African-American faculty, staff and student community. The presentation was a part of ceremonies surrounding the MLK Jr. scholarship benefit dinner last quarter. The plaque expresses appreciation for Horton's "support and dedication to The University of Toledo's African-American programs."
