Abstract/Description: | Exhibit labels: [1] Bulletin (1938). This booklet contains course descriptions for the Junior College, which was established in 1914. [2] Basketball Program (1939). Program for a game between the University of Toledo and De Paul University. [3] Student Handbooks (1934-1936). These handbooks were published by Student Council and were "intended as a ready source of information concerning the general curricular and extra-curricular phases of the University of Toledo." Any student who paid an activities fee could receive a copy. [4] Bulletin of the University of Toledo – Pictorial Issue (1939). This special edition bulletin contains various scenes of campus life. [5] Dedication Day Program (1937). Although the first game in the new football stadium was played on September 27, 1937, the stadium was not officially dedicated until October 16 of that year, when the University of Toledo played the University of Akron. Unfortunately, the Rockets lost the game 21-7. [6] President's Sexennial Report (1939). This report to the Board of Directors documents the activities of the University from 1933-1939. President Philip Nash believed that a review covering a longer period of time--instead of only one year--would "give some perspective on the policies and progress of the institution." |
